A Year of Growth and a Future of Possibility (Jan 1, 2026)

“The strength of the TYE community lies not in any one school, but in how these schools grow and innovate alongside each other.”

As we say goodbye to 2025, we’re reflecting on a year that truly captured the spirit of TYE. From months of ideation and teamwork to an incredible state competition, this year showcased the creativity, resilience, and drive of our students. As we sent off team Hive to the global competition, it reminded us what’s possible when ideas are paired with commitment and collaboration. Our successes of 2025 wasn’t about winning, it was about progress and learning.

As we step in to 2026, that momentum is only building. Across Lincoln High School, McDaniel High School, Benson Polytechnic High School, and Rosemary Anderson High School, students are coming together to form new teams and explore unique ideas. What’s especially exciting is the emphasis on collaboration. Students are blending diverse skills, perspectives, and passions to tackle real-world problems through innovation and entrepreneurship.

Teams are learning how to brainstorm with intention, problem-solve thoughtfully, and refine their ideas through feedback. Whether focused on sustainability, technology, or community-centered solutions, students are building more than just projects. They’re building confidence, leadership, and a shared sense of purpose. The strength of the TYE community lies not in any one school, but in how these schools grow and innovate alongside each other.

As 2026 begins, we carry forward the lessons and successes of the past year while looking ahead to new challenges and opportunities. The foundation laid in 2025 has set the stage for another year of bold thinking, strong teamwork, and ideas in action.

Here’s to 2026 and to everything our TYE community is ready to build next!
